Hello Everyone! It's been a while since I posted here, but I wanted this to be the first place on my social media that I shared the big news. Yes, I am expecting my first child! I am now at 18 1/2 weeks, and I felt that it was time to share the news with others, especially now that big changes will be happening soon, and I can't keep hiding this from social media forever.

So, I found out I was pregnant on January 4th. It was a few hours before my sister was due to fly into Tokyo to stay with me. I opted not to tell her until the last day because I knew this news would change the entire dynamic of our worlds, but I felt lucky enough to be able to tell one of my family members in person. I told my boyfriend on the day my sister left, and we've been running ever since.

Since this wasn't planned, we weren't ready in any capacity. So, playing catch up has been hard, especially with Covid-19 cancelling things left and right and making daily living so stressful. I am also working full time, and trying to fight morning sickness and pregnancy ailments as well.

So far, we have decided to get married, move in together. After those two things, we need to furnish our place with baby items and then just wait for the baby to arrive. As I'm writing it out, it all seems so simple, but you guys have no idea the emotional (and physical) and financial toll this has taken on us. I couldn't possibly share everything here.

Nevertheless, we are doing the best that we can to support and prepare for our new baby. I have decided to voluntarily quarantine during the state of emergency, so at least now I can get proper rest and have more time to look for apartments and get things out of the way.

Now that I got this announcement out of the way, I can share more of the daily daily, like challenges and adventures that I am going on during my pregnancy here in Japan!
